Adam Young - Pay Per Call

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

I run this site to talk about pay per call, and once in a while I ask you to hand over your email so I can keep in touch. That's a small favor, and I don't take it lightly. Here's exactly what happens with the information you give me and what I do with it.

What I collect

Two things, mostly. When you fill out a form on this site, I collect the email address you type in and your first name if the form asks for it. That's it for the stuff you hand me directly. I'm not fishing for your home address, your income, or your favorite color.

Behind the scenes, my site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to count visits and see which pages people actually read. That tool uses cookies and collects things like your general location, the browser you're on, and how you got to the site. It's traffic measurement, not surveillance. I use it to figure out what's working and what's putting people to sleep.

Why I collect it

Your email and name let me do a few practical things:

The analytics data helps me understand my audience in aggregate. I'm looking at patterns, not building a file on you specifically.

What I don't do

I don't sell your personal information. I don't rent it, trade it, or pass it around to whoever's buying. If that ever changed, I'd tell you plainly before it happened, not bury it in a footnote.

Cookies

This site uses cookies, mainly for the Google Analytics piece. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in the settings. If you turn them off, the site will still work fine, I just won't have as clear a picture of the traffic.

Getting off the list

Every marketing email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're out, no hard feelings and no hoops to jump through. You can also ask me to remove you through the contact form, and I'll take care of it.

How long I keep things

I hold onto your email and name for as long as you're subscribed or as long as I need it to answer you. Once you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your information, I remove it, keeping only what I'm legally required to hold. I don't hoard data I have no use for.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. If you're in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what I've collected, to ask me to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Since I don't sell data, there's nothing to opt out of on that front. Folks in other places may have similar rights, and I'll honor reasonable requests regardless of where you are.

Reaching me

If you want to ask about your data, make a request, or just tell me something, use the contact form on this site. I read what comes in and I'll get back to you.

This policy may change over time. When it does, I'll update this page.
