About
I'm Adam Young, and this site is where I write about pay per call marketing.
If you've never heard the term, pay per call is exactly what it sounds like. Businesses pay for phone calls instead of clicks or clicks that turn into forms. Someone dials a number, a real conversation happens, and money changes hands somewhere along the way. I've spent a lot of time on that side of marketing, the part where a ringing line means someone is about to either make a sale or lose an afternoon to a bad lead.
That gap between the two is what keeps me interested. A phone call feels simpler than most digital marketing, but it isn't. There's tracking, routing, buyer and seller relationships, call quality, and a hundred small decisions that separate a channel that prints money from one that quietly drains a budget. I like watching businesses figure out which one it'll be, and I like writing about what actually moves the needle.
So that's what you'll find here. Plain explanations of how pay per call works, what to watch for, and the mistakes I see people make over and over. I try to write the way I'd talk to a friend who asked me a question over coffee. No jargon I wouldn't say out loud, no pretending something is easy when it isn't.
I'm not selling you a shortcut or a secret. I'm just sharing what I've picked up, honestly, so you can decide if this channel fits what you're doing.
If any of that sounds useful, stick around and read a few posts. If you want to hear when I publish something new, you can leave your name and email and I'll keep you posted.
